Back-to-School Giveaway

Start the 2025 fall semester off with free swag from Zollinger Library. Visit the library during the first week of classes, check out something, and get a free gift. Supplies are limited, so gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Back-to-School Scavenger Hunt

Welcome back, Lobos! Celebrate the start of the fall semester at Zollinger Library with a Welcome Back Scavenger Hunt. Come to the library anytime between Aug. 18 and Aug. 29 to get a participation sheet. Hand in your completed hunt sheet to be entered for a chance to win a gift certificate.

Pokémon Go Night: Welcome Back Bash

Join Zollinger Library for Pokémon Go Night beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20. Welcome back, trainers! Let’s celebrate a new school year with a Pokémon bash. Talk to trainers, trade Pokémon, and enjoy snacks. Afterward, join us for a walk around campus and raid hour at 6 p.m. Snacks will be provided.

Welcome Back Movie: "Monty Python and the Holy Grail"

As a special welcome back, join Zollinger Library at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27 for a screening of the cult classic “Monty Python and the Holy Grail.” Released in 1975, this comedy parody of King Arthur will be the perfect way to start the school year. Popcorn and drinks will be available. Everyone is welcome.

Author Presentation: Anna Redsand

Zollinger Library will host author Anna Redsand at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28. Redsand will read from her latest book, “Crevice: A Life Between Worlds,” which contains stories and reflections about her life growing up in Navajo Country. Anna Redsand, who is an alumni of �Ӱ���̳, grew up in Gallup and the Navajo Nation. Books will be available for purchase and to be signed by Redsand.
